 Responsibilities: 

Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations. 
Inspect bridges, dams, highways, buildings, wiring, plumbing, electrical circuits, sewers, heating systems, and foundations during and after construction for structural quality, general safety and conformance to specifications and codes. 
Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures and fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes. 
Use survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment, such as concrete strength measurers, to perform inspections. 
Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records.
Desired Profile : Requirements: Minimum 5 years Bridge and highway inspection work experience. Inspection Certifications required. NICET level 3 in Highway Construction or above Willing to travel statewide a must. Be extremely detail oriented for inspection and quantity record keeping. Must possess a team spirit and ability to liaison with other staff, the contractor, utility representatives. Be responsive to Owner/Clients requests and requirements. Education & Skill requirements: High School diploma, AA or BS preferred. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Excellent English written and verbal communication skill required. Organized and capable of keeping precise records.
